According to a recent report by Reuters, in view of China's dense supply network, competitive labor cost advantage and huge domestic consumer market, well-known American toy manufacturers have increased their investment in China. According to reports, Kids2, a well-known American toy and baby products manufacturer based in Atlanta, the capital of Georgia in the southern United States, recently invested US$20 million in setting up a factory in China.
The report quoted the company's CEO Ryan Gunnigel as saying that China can provide a complete industrial chain from raw materials such as electronics, steel and plastics to sewing and other processing services, and has obvious advantages in the development of the Chinese market. The report pointed out that China successfully controlled the epidemic and ensured the normal operation of the factory. Gunniger said that due to various problems such as rising costs, labor shortages, and insufficient suppliers in other markets, some of their colleagues who once moved their factories out of China have moved back.
