A Chemical Plant Exploded Near The Thai Capital Bangkok, 29 People Were Injured

CCTV News: At around 3 o'clock on July 5, local time, Mindy Chemical Co., Ltd. in Samut Prakan province near the Thai capital Bangkok exploded violently and caused a fire. At least 20 people were injured nearby. After several hours of fighting the fire, the firefighters still failed to fully control the fire.
At noon on July 5, another explosion occurred in the chemical plant, suspected to be caused by the leakage of chemical raw materials in the warehouse. Several firefighters who were extinguishing the fire at the scene were instantly swallowed by the fire. One person died on the spot and four were injured. The injured have been rushed to the hospital. As the fire is getting closer to nearby oil storage tanks, relevant departments have ordered firefighters to evacuate the scene, and residents within a radius of 5 kilometers have been arranged for emergency evacuation.
The chemical plant is only 3 kilometers away from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The explosion has not yet affected the airport.
