WACKER’s Acquisition Of A Chinese Specialty Silane Producer Has Passed Anti-monopoly Review

WACKER acquires 60% of Chinese specialty silane producer SICO(Shandong Silicon New Material Co., LTD)

Organic functional silane is an important component in highly effective adhesives, sealants, coatings and composites.

The purchase price is approximately 120 million euros and the entire transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2022.
