According to Korean media reports, on May 25, Dongjin Semichem held the completion ceremony and product delivery ceremony of the new photoresist manufacturing building at its factory in Hwaseong Balan, Gyeonggi-do. It invested 20 billion won in new semiconductor photolithography. The glue factory is fully operational. CEO Jun-h-hyuk said he plans to produce EUV photoresist here.

Currently, Dongjin Semichem is using IMEC's EUV exposure machine to develop EUV photoresist. EUV photoresist is the core material used in the EUV process (ie, next-generation semiconductor manufacturing) and is dominated by Japanese companies such as JSR, Shin-Etsu, and TOK. According to Dongjin Semichem, the company is confident that it can succeed in the development of EUV photoresist, and plans to produce EUV photoresist in the new plant. Lee, CEO of Dongjin Semichem, said, "Currently EUV photoresist is progressing smoothly."
