Material characteristics

Chemical stability: Food grade silicone tubing is mainly composed of siloxane polymers, which have high chemical stability and are not easily reacted with other substances. When in contact with common food acidic and alkaline substances, organic solvents, etc., it can still maintain its own stable performance and will not release harmful substances, ensuring food safety.

Non toxic and odorless: The raw materials themselves are non-toxic, and no toxic or harmful additives or plasticizers are added during production and processing, ensuring that food grade silicone tubes will not have adverse effects on the taste, odor, and quality of food during use, meeting strict safety standards for food grade materials.

High and low temperature resistance: It can maintain good elasticity and flexibility over a wide temperature range, and can usually be used normally between -60 ℃ and 220 ℃. It will not harden, crack or soften due to rapid temperature changes, and can adapt to various temperature conditions during food processing and storage, such as low-temperature cold chain transportation or high-temperature sterilization.

Good elasticity and flexibility: With excellent elasticity recovery ability, it can quickly restore its original state after being squeezed, stretched or twisted by external forces, ensuring the sealing and integrity of the pipeline, and effectively preventing food leakage. At the same time, its flexibility allows the pipeline to be easily bent into various shapes during installation and use, to adapt to different equipment layouts and pipeline routing requirements.

Wear resistance and aging resistance: the surface is smooth and the friction coefficient is small, which reduces the wear with food or equipment parts and extends the service life. In addition, food grade silicone tube has good weather resistance and anti-aging performance, and is not vulnerable to ultraviolet, ozone and other factors. Even after long-term use and exposure to the outside environment, it can still maintain good physical properties and appearance quality.

Corrosion resistance: It has good corrosion resistance to most commonly used chemicals in food processing, such as acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and oils, and will not corrode, dissolve, or expand due to contact with these chemicals, ensuring the long-term stable operation of pipelines and the smooth progress of food processing.

Non absorbent and non oil absorbing: It has low water and oil absorption, and will not cause changes in material properties or the growth of microorganisms due to the absorption of water or oil, which helps maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of the food processing environment.
