The First Stage Of Ticket Sales For The Paris Olympics Has Been Announced

Organizers of the Paris Olympic Games on Monday unveiled the first phase of ticket sales for the 2024 Summer Games, with viewers around the world able to register for the lottery on the official ticketing website from Dec 1, 2022, to be among the first "lucky ones" to win tickets for the Games.

According to the announcement by the Paris Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games, all tickets sold during this period will be sets of tickets, and winners will be able to make their own viewing plans for the Games according to their preferences.

The package is available worldwide, with all spectators able to register for the draw on the official ticketing website from Dec 1, 2022 to Jan 31, 2023. It should be noted that the order of registration does not affect the probability of winning the lottery. After receiving a confirmation email from the organizing committee, the winners will be able to purchase tickets for the Paris Games through official channels within the next 48 hours.

Tickets for the second phase of the Paris Games, which will be available in single sheet form, will go on sale in May 2023, while tickets for the Paris Paralympics will go on sale in the autumn of 2023.

Almost half of the 13 million tickets expected to be sold for the Paris Olympics and Paralympics will be available to the public for 50 euros or less, according to organizers' plans. Tickets for all events except the opening and closing ceremonies will range from €24 to €950, with the maximum price of €950 accounting for less than 0.5 per cent of the total.
