The Dow Closed Down More Than 200 Points On Tuesday

In the early morning of the 29th Beijing time, US stocks closed down on Tuesday, and the Dow fell more than 200 points. The market is concerned about the progress of the US fiscal stimulus negotiations, vaccine research and development and financial reporting. The Fed will announce the results of its monetary policy meeting tomorrow. Gold futures hit a record high.

The Dow fell 205.49 points, or 0.77%, to 26379.28 points; the Nasdaq fell 134.18 points, or 1.27%, to 10,402.09 points; the S&P 500 index fell 20.97 points, or 0.65%, to 3,218.44 points.
US stocks manufacturing sector and technology sector led the decline, Tesla (1476.49, -63.11, -4.10%) fell more than 4%. Chip stocks fell collectively, and TSMC (76.92, -6.33, -7.60%) fell more than 7%.
