This week, affected by the "8·4" major explosion accident in Beirut, Lebanon, the price of silane crosslinking agent is rising every day. In just a few days, the price has doubled, resulting in urgent procurement costs for various silicone rubber manufacturers. According to market data, many powerful silicone rubber companies in East China and South China have increased their ex-factory prices, and individual manufacturers have increased astonishingly.
In order to eliminate potential safety hazards, the Office of the Safety Commissioner of the State Council of China immediately made special arrangements to conduct open and unannounced visits to the production and storage enterprises and port cargo yards of explosive key chemicals such as ammonium nitrate. On August 7th, 6 working groups were dispatched to 11 provinces including Hebei and 4 key ports including Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, and Ningbo Port, and focused on spot-checking enterprises, chemical parks and related areas that produce and store ammonium nitrate in large numbers.
