Compared with the above two factors, the medium pressure has a greater impact on the deformation of the silicone sealing ring. This is the reason why the sealing ring has different deformation, which is the most common situation under various working conditions. With the development of hydraulic equipment, the pressure of hydraulic medium is increasing. It works in this high pressure environment for a long time, will cause the overall deformation of the product is irreversible damage, and in this high pressure environment, the deformation of the sealing ring will lead to the material with the increase of temperature and aging acceleration.


Working fluid pressure is an important factor that causes permanent deformation of silicone rubber seal. Ancient hydraulic equipment worked under increasing pressure. Long-term high pressure will cause permanent deformation of silicone rubber O-ring seal. Therefore, the design should choose the appropriate pressure resistant rubber material according to the working pressure.
