India Initiates Anti-dumping Investigation Against Untreated Fumed Silica

On September 22, 2020, India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a notice saying that, in response to a request from An Indian company, Cabot Sanmar Limited, it has initiated an anti-dumping investigation against Untreated Fumed Silica, from China and South Korea.

The case concerns products under Items 28112200 of the Indian Customs Code and some products under items 28112190, 28391900 and 34049090.The duration of the present case is from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020 (12 months), and the duration of the injury investigation is from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, and April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019, and the duration of the dumping investigation.
