What are the cutting ways of acrylic panel

There are four main methods of cutting acrylic panel.

1. Sawing: Acrylic panels can be cut using a conventional angle grinder, saw blade, miter saw, or table saw. Because of its higher abrasive qualities, use saw blades with many teeth in the range of 20-32 teeth per inch (tpi).

2. Sonic Cutting: Sonic cutting of acrylic panels is a special method of cutting acoustic materials at high speed, chipping away layers of material while minimizing sound generation.

3. Laser Cutting: Laser cutting is a very accurate method of cutting acrylic sheet quickly, with a very narrow kerf width. It is suitable for intricate designs.

4. Water jet Cutting: Water jet cutting is very accurate and is frequently used to cut acrylic panels in intricate shapes. It produces a good, clean cut with minimal kerf width.
