Understand thermally conductive silicone sheet and its application
Sep 30, 2020
Thermally conductive silicone sheet is widely used, especially in electronic products, semiconductor industry has a very important role, for example, in power supply, LED lighting, 5G communication, automation equipment and other fields have an important use, that is, thermal heat dissipation.

Thermally conductive gasket is a kind of thermally conductive medium material made of silicone rubber as matrix, auxiliary thermally conductive filler, flame retardant and other functional additives. It is a solution specially designed for transferring heat through gaps. Its thermal conductivity and compression resilience are mainly used for interface heat dissipation, shock absorption and buffering of heating components. Generally, the thermal conductivity is between 1-8W/m·K.
Application
Thermal conductive silicone sheet is widely used, as long as it is involved in the heat dissipation application of electronic components, basically can be used, such as power converter, PCB circuit board, 5G communication, LED lighting, automotive machinery, computer host, laptop, DVD, VCD and any other materials that need to fill and heat dissipation module. It can be said that there are a lot of applications. We often use mobile phones, computers, tablets and so on.
What are the types of thermal conductive silicone sheet?
1. Ordinary heat-conducting silica gel sheet
2. Silica gel sheet with strong viscosity and thermal conductivity
3. Heat-conducting silica gel sheet with silicon rubber backing
4. Heat-conducting silica gel sheet with glass fiber in the middle
Thermally conductive silicone sheet storage conditions
It is recommended to store it at 15~30℃ and dry it away from light with relative humidity < 75℃.
The standard size is 200mm*300mm, 300mm*400mm, and the thickness is 0.5-15mm, which can be cut according to customer requirements.
